BACKGROUND:
You can actually remember stepping on that
old Claymore mine back in Columbia. But after that, it's just fragments
of memories from the following 6 months. You remember lying there
in the field, waiting to die, then the blackness, the voice of your buddies
around you, more blackness. Then the hospitals, the bright lights,
the feeling of weightlessness. The next real memory you have is the
morning in the lab, when they activated your new body and woke you up.
After months of rehab, you finally learned to walk again.
That was during the war, when you were still
valuable. But once the war was over, you were left on your own, with
maintenance bills piling up. So you joined a small band of mercs
and make enough to cover your debts. But you're starting to get tired
of hassling Third World natives and nickel and dime mobsters. You've
come to Olympus to look for some real work...but you have no real idea
what that means yet... |
